TnT lost the toss and were put in. Despite the overcast conditions it was obvious that the openers were in good form with 60 on the board in 14 overs. Steve Carter made an error of judgment and was bowled.

Vic Hayter then joined Alan Pyke and they put on 94, it appeared effortlessly, runs. When Vic was out to one of the few balls that did a bit, Alan went on to make a chanceless century with 18 fours.

When IM went in to bat the opening attack gave nothing away with less than 20 off the first 12 overs. IM quickly gave up the chase.

Bob Williams then produced his infamous slower ball (drinks were taken while it was on its way) to obtain TnTs only success. A winning draw boding well for the future.
