So the weather was kind and we had another game of cricket. Again we won the toss and elected to field as Mike Toyer needed to leave early.

Things got off to a slow start with both openers scratching around. Now it's hard to say when they happened as they happened so frequently throughout the game, but somewhere along the line we managed to drop the opener 5 times. In hind sight this was a stroke of genius because if we hadn't they probably wouldn't have got to 75 and again we would have lost some batting points. So we let them get to 123. Nayab and Stu making the breakthru's and both snaffling up two wickets.

In reply Eddie & Cameron got off to a great start with a partnership of 50 off 10 overs. Then came Mr Toyer who had to leave early. It showed. He racked up 54 not out in just 34 balls. The last ball he sent for 6 to bring up his 50 and our 125 for the extra point.

We won by 9 wickets and added 28 points to our tally. The next game... Peppard.
