With a team strong on bowling and with a sporting looking surface James had little hesitation in electing to bowl first on winning the toss.

There was an early breakthrough when Os had Sivapalan well caught by Raj at mid off but then Fuller and Philpott had a partnership of 60 for the second wicket that looked like it could lead to a large total for Warfield. Fuller was particularly fluent off his legs until Mo had him caught behind when driving outside the off stump.

When Philpott was the third to go it was the start of a collapse with 7 wickets going down for 17 runs. The destroyer in chief was Arsalan who pitched the ball up with good pace and picked up five wickets all clean bowled and the innings soon ended with Warfield 118 all out.

With Raj and Stephen both going before the T&T reply had reached double figures Warfield were in the game. However, James came in and soon took the initiative away with his first six scoring strokes all being boundaries as he went on to a run a ball 77. He dominated a partnership of 114 for the third wicket with Mo who provided very solid support as we cruised to an 8 wicket victory with 14 overs to spare.
