Well, I have been brought into the 3rd's to bring some strength and depth to their report writing, co-incidentally it was against my former team. 

Bob won the toss and chose to bowl.  Arslan and Bob opened and it wasn't long before Arslan broke through with a great catch from Ian in deep gully.  It wasn't long before Arslan took another wicket with a good catch from Harry at mid on.  This was immediately followed by another wicket with Alan Mayers caught as square leg by Hammad.  With his hatrick ball he game himself every chance, however it just missed the outside edge.

Imran came on to bowl and took two wickets with a decent spell and then Chef took two.   Arslan and Bob then took one each.  We couldn't quite bowl them out but 134 for 9 off 45 was a good performance.

What came next, wasn't so good.  There were only really 3 innings of note.  A good partnership between Alex and Dave and a good performance from Harry towards the end.   After being 49 for 2, we were all out for 78 and we had thrown away what should have been an easy win.

Oh well, next week we are away at home.... if you get my drift.
