Theale & Tilehurst 2011 Annual General Meeting

I would like to remind all Club Members that it is our AGM on Monday,
14th November starting at 7.30pm in the Peter Gooch Room at Theale
(i.e. in the Pavilion at the ground on Englefield Road).
At this year's meeting the Committee will be formally proposing Ralph
Jenkins to succeed Eddie Ellis who is standing down as Club President.
We are already expecting at least two candidates to stand this year for
the role of Club Captain; Andrew Wigmore and Sunil Kumar have both
advised the Club Chairman of their intention to stand.
I would again remind you that anyone not currently on Committee but
wishing to stand for election is encouraged to contact the Chairman
Philip Jenkins in advance of the meeting to register their interest.
Nominations can be made at the meeting, but it is helpful to know of
interest in advance. Anyone wishing to stand will need to have a
proposer and seconder.
Finally a reminder that those permitted to vote (and to be a proposer
or seconder) are current fully paid up Senior Club Members and Life
Members in attendance on the night, So, if you want your opinion to
count you need to come along!
If you are unable to attend then please can you send your apologies to
Philip Jenkins or indeed any other Committee member.
