AIM

T&TCC is committed to ensuring that the club provides a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for children and vulnerable adults by adopting and implementing the ECB's "Safe Hands - Welfare of Young People in Cricket" policy and any future versions of the policy.

OBJECTIVES

To provide the facilities and infrastructure to play cricket and to promote an interest in the game in the wider community so as to secure the long term future of the club

To be a successful playing club, playing cricket at the highest level, whilst retaining strong links and relations with the local community

Through a strong relationship with the local schools and the wider community, develop and maintain a strong youth section

To have a pro-active relationship within the communities of Theale and Tilehurst and be regarded as an asset by them

GOALS

To establish T&TCC as a respected and valued member within the Thames Valley Cricket League


1st XI playing in TVCL Division 4 by start of 2010 season
2nd XI playing in TVCL Division 6 by start of 2010 season
3rd XI playing in TVCL Division 7 by start of 2010 season

4th XI playing league cricket by start of 2012 season

Youth teams playing league cricket at u9, u11, u13, u15 & u17 by start of 2010 season

LOCATION

Club House:

Recreation Ground, Englefield Road, Theale, Berks, RG7 5AS.

Directions:

M4 Junction 12, take A4 west (towards Newbury). Follow signs to Theale village. In centre of village take Englefield Road (opposite Red Lion public house). Ground is 1/4 mile on left. (click for directions)

3rd XI Ground:

Upper Woolhampton, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 5TQ.

Directions:

Leave the M4 at junction 12 and take the A4 towards Newbury, signposted Theale, Pangbourne and Beale Park. Stay on the A4 for approx. 5miles passing the Spring Inn (2.2 miles) on your left, Winning Hand (2.9 miles) on you right and pass through Padworth with the Total petrol station (3.8 miles) on your left. After approx. 5 miles turn right onto Cods Hill, signposted Upper Woolhampton, Chapel Row, Bucklebury and Douai Abbey. Follow this road for 0.8 mile and you will find the ground on your left hand side. (click for directions)
